Andong Hahoe Village
Address: 186 Jeonseo-ro, Pungcheon-myeon, Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do
A traditional Joseon-era village named for the way the Nakdong River curves around it in an S-shape, inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010. Home to the Pungsan Ryu clan, it preserves houses more than 500 years old in their original form and is the birthplace of the Hahoe mask, with the Andong International Mask Dance Festival held nearby every autumn. A popular route crosses the river by ferry to Mansongjeong pine grove and Buyongdae cliff for a panoramic view of the village.
