The day of the show, and what you get to decide

There are only four things to decide on the day. Each one is written with the free option first and the paid one second. Skip all four, or take one.

Morning

How you turn up

  • You just go. Most people do, and nobody at the venue is looking.
  • Salons in Hongdae, Seongsu and Gangnam will style your hair and make-up the way the people on stage are styled. The days with concerts fill first, and almost all of them take bookings only. Roughly US$30–80.

Hair, nails and make-up

Salons and nail shops in Hongdae, Seongsu and Gangnam style visitors the way the people on stage are styled. Most take bookings only, and the days with concerts fill first.

Midday

Where the suitcase goes

  • A subway station locker. Large cases may not fit, the number of lockers varies by station, and you have to come back for it before the show.
  • Services carry it from the airport to a hotel, or from one hotel to the next, and it arrives the same day. Delivery US$17–31; airport storage about US$7.
  • Once the case is gone there are hours before check-in. A craft workshop fills one or two of them and you leave holding what you made.

Send the suitcase ahead

Services carry luggage from Incheon or Gimpo to a hotel in the city, and from one hotel to the next. Same-day delivery is available.

Night

How you get back

  • The last train. Except that at some venues it does not go as far as Seoul — check before you buy the ticket.
  • Take a room you can walk back to. These are the venues that have one, and the distances were measured from the coordinates.

These venues have nothing within walking distance — Incheon Main Stadium · Gocheok Sky Dome · Seoul Arena · Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium. For those, decide how you are getting back before you go.

Afterwards

What you keep

  • Whatever your phone caught. The venue is dark and far from the stage, so most of it is blurred.
  • A studio in Hongdae, Seongsu or Bukchon will take Korean-style portraits. Sometimes it is the only sharp photograph left of the whole trip. Roughly US$16–38.

Something to bring the trip home

Studios in Hongdae, Seongsu and Bukchon shoot Korean-style profile photographs. Some do the hair and make-up as well, and most want to be booked in advance.

The next morning

When you cannot move

  • A long hot shower at the hotel and a late start. Costs nothing, and takes the afternoon with it.
  • A scrub at a bathhouse. Fifty to sixty thousand won, an hour or so, and not available outside Korea.

Somewhere to recover, the day after

The spas set up for visitors cluster in Myeongdong and Gangnam. The body scrub exists only here, and walking in without a booking often means no slot.

Prices are the range shown on Klook in August 2026. All four comes to roughly US$60–150, and the room is not counted in that.

The distances here are straight lines from the venue's coordinates; the walk itself is a little longer. Check the route on a map before booking.
