The Suncheon Drama Film Shooting Location is situated in Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do, especially in an area with many tourist attractions. It recreates houses from the 1960s-80s that no longer exist and is South Korea's largest-scale movie and drama filming location that vividly preserves the appearance of a poor neighborhood (달동네). It is the shooting location for famous works including the film "That Summer" and the dramas 사랑과 야망, 자이언트, 에덴의 동쪽, 제빵왕 김탁구, and 허삼관매혈기. You can view the shooting location by walking through the alleyways and experience renting school uniforms. ◎ Travel Information for Encountering the Appeal of Korean Culture This is South Korea's largest-scale movie and drama filming location that vividly recreates the modern Korean appearance from the 1960s through the 1980s. As you walk around streets composed of 1960s Suncheon town center streets, 1970s Seoul Bongcheon-dong poor neighborhoods (달동네), and 1980s Seoul outskirts streets, you become captivated by a feeling of becoming a character in a movie. Currently, approximately 80 works have been filmed here, including the dramas 구미호뎐 1938 and 파친코.
