Jeonju Hanok Village

A village of some 800 traditional Korean houses. It has a different character from purpose-built tourist attractions, as these are homes where people have lived since the Joseon period. The best way to experience this place is to wander through the alleys without a destination in mind.

Gyeonggi-jeon
44 Taejo-ro, Wansan-gu, Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do
Shrine dedicated to the portrait of King Taejo Yi Seong-gye. Located in the heart of the traditional Korean hanok village, you'll notice the world becomes quieter as you step inside the gate. The bamboo grove path is short but lovely.

Jeonju Jeongdong Cathedral
51 Taejo-ro, Wansan-gu, Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do
A 1914 brick cathedral standing directly across from Gyeonggi Hall. Its tile roof and Romanesque bell tower face each other across the street—one of the most photographed spots in Jeonju.

Jeonju Nambu Market Night Bazaar

A night market that opens only on Friday and Saturday evenings. Just a 10-minute walk from Hanok Village, it's the perfect spot to grab dinner and naturally wrap up your day.
