Jangtaesan Natural Recreation Forest
San 15-beon, Jangan-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon
A forest of towering metasequoias. Walk across the high bridges suspended between the trees and experience the forest from its heart. This kind of immersive forest walkway is rare in Korea.

Ggyeejok Mountain Red Clay Trail
485 Jang-dong, Daedeok-gu, Daejeon
A stunning 14-kilometer path lined with vibrant red clay soil. Many visitors enjoy walking barefoot, though shoes are perfectly fine. You don't need to complete the entire route—walk at your own pace.

Daecheong Lake Nature Waterside Park

A large lake nestled between Daejeon and Cheongju. Multiple walking paths wind along the shoreline, and whichever route you take, you'll encounter few crowds.
