A Confucian academy built in 1605 to honor scholar-statesman Ryu Seong-ryong, added to UNESCO's 'Seowon, Korean Neo-Confucian Academies' listing in 2019. The view of the river and mountain from its Mandaeru pavilion is often called Korea's most beautiful academy setting.

3Woryeonggyo Bridge
569 Sanga-dong, Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do
Korea's longest wooden footbridge (387m), designed in the shape of straw sandals to commemorate a Joseon-era love letter known as the 'Wonyi's Mother' story. Lit up after dark, it makes a fitting close to the course.
